There is no minimum age, unlike other courses, which opens the door to schools, youth clubs, young martial arts clubs, boxing gyms and other similar clubs. The ability to perform CPR is based more on body strength than age.


On successful completion of this practical skills based Basic Life Support training, candidates will have covered the competencies listed in Emergency First Aid at Work. Theory is swapped for practical work on the course and candidates will learn the following skills:

On successful completion of this course, candidates receive a certificate that is valid for three years. This is a recognised qualification that can form part of your employee’s CPD and gives the individual the confidence to deal with an emergency situation.
